EFS Executive Steering Committee

Overview

The EFS Executive Steering Committee is the overarching body within MDIC’s EFS initiative. Comprised of industry leaders, regulatory experts, and clinical specialists, this committee plays a role in advancing medical device innovation in the United States.

Our Role

  • Provide high-level direction and oversight for EFS activities
  • Offer strategic recommendations to enhance the EFS pathway
  • Initiate critical projects to expand EFS adoption in the US
  • Serve as a bridge between various stakeholders in the medical device ecosystem

Program Support

Back MDIC’s efforts in tracking EFS performance metrics and developing tools and best practices for EFS sponsors and clinical researchers.

Collaboration Facilitation

Foster interaction among the FDA, sponsors, and innovators during the early stages of product development.

Process Improvement

Support initiatives aimed at streamlining the EFS process, potentially reducing time and resource constraints for US-based studies.
