Patient Centered Digital Health
Overview
Evaluate how the industry evaluates the rapidly growing implementation of Digital Health Technologies (DHTs) within the MedTech field., and how future DHTs could be made to be more patient-centric. This includes human centered design for DHTs to be used in home or outside health care provider settings, and frameworks for inclusive design principles.
Objective
To provide excellent patient, caregiver, and provider experience and support improved shared clinical decision making through making Digital Health Technologies (DHTs) more patient centric
SPI Digital Health Survey Results
MDIC designed a Science of Patient Input (SPI) survey to collect insights regarding the use of Digital Health Technologies (DHT) with a specific focus on generating data related to patient input that can be incorporated into the medical device ecosystem to drive future initiatives.
Why it's important
As healthcare and digital technologies become more interconnected, it is vital to consider how digital solutions can be designed, scaled, and integrated effectively into our current systems and workflows to provide a better experience to all stakeholders.
Active Working Groups
